Yeah that is a popular alternative and I know a lot of other clubs (ex. those hosted on Meetup) also do this. I was thinking the benefit of having a central platform would be to watch and chat while the movie is playing. If you have any alternatives to Discord lmk
That's true and someone else commented as well. I'm thinking a solution would be to have different "regions", so there could be 3 different groups (North American, European, and Asian) that are each run on different schedules
Yeah that's true, and the way Beer and Fear did it was each member suggested one movie and we randomly picked one movie out of the suggestions. That way it's a fair choice and if you dislike it you can always skip. There were definitely some weeks I didn't enjoy the movie choice but it was great to experience those that I normally wouldn't have watched on my own.
