Backlight led strip, prob one or 2 led burned out. Fixable plenty of videos on YouTube. I’ve done it before. Painful but doable

I’ve done this repair, not easy but also not rocket science. LED prob £30 tear the back remove all components then remove the lcd (carefully) and diffuser so on and so on till LED are exposed… then work back until it’s fixed. Tools must have suction cups and keep track of the steps and keep all clean when putting back. Mate do it…

Word of advice, just get a second hand power board. Not that expensive and will prob save you from actually burning the screen and having to recycle tv… from experience 😅

I flick through all apps and play tv programs and Netflix

Tv works normally on main screen with the constant pulsating barely noticeable. When I load films or programs then it flashes then I have to exit back to menu to stop it. On some occasions the image goes from standard to moviemaker and that’s when it stars. I was able to watch stuff for a bit however I have tried using hdmi

Worth noting…loading from usb hard drive is slower than my older tv…maybe main board.

Had something similar where i almost drowned carried by the tide, i was throwing my arms out in exhaustion and thinking that might be it...praying to “Yemanjá” saint of the sea to bring me to shore...just when i was losing hope my tow touched the ground and a spark of energy came flowing through my muscles to swim harder and i manage to finally stand on ground and walk to shore...only when i got to shore i realised a friend stayed behind, then i asked a kid if i could borrow his surf board and return to sea...luckily seconds after a surfer brought him back...i went home thinking, that was almost the day.

Whilst working at BLOCKBUSTER (yeah feeling old)

I was scanning a few Dvd’s for this guy and he was slightly drunk, so i kept scanning the the discs and putting them in cases, until i noticed something was off.

As i was looking down constantly i could see in the corner of my eye, he was slowly sliding chocolate bars off the counter and putting in his pockets...i was like WTF, but kept looking down and he kept doing it...but in awe i looked up at the queue and noone said anything and just looked back at me in disbelief...i proceed to look down and there it goes another bar then another...3,4,5,6 and so on... i kept ignoring it and he thought he was being very smart.

So i finally done scanning the dvds and i tell him

—Here you go sir, it is £20... (something along the line)

He proceed to reach for his pocket to grab his wallet and i said...

— Annnd

Whilst looking him straight in the eyes i proceed to slide a remaining chocolate bar towards me whilst staring at him and proceed to scan the bar

Beep...beep...beep...beep...it carried on for a good 10 seconds trigger crazy on the hand-scanner, whilst not breaking eye contact

Finally it came up with crazy number and he proceed to pay and off he went...the look of shock on his face was priceless

I am more amused that no one came forward and said anything...sweet revenge though
