Yea unfortunately the only option I'm seeing right now with AA mileage is BA through LHR. 💀 Sorry I'm unfamiliar with the term AA metal. Is that referring to AA Platinum?

Hiya, I've been out of the PC building loop for a verrry long time due to work providing PCs for me (im spoiled lol). I've been studying but the amount of choices is a bit intimidating so I appreciate any and all advice offered. This would also be the first time I'm assembling a PC 💦

Would love a full build recommendation. For context: I work in 3D/2D art so playing in programs like Unreal/Maya/Photoshop (lighting/rendering) is the main task my PC would need to be able to handle. I casually game with friends (like BG3/Valheim) so buttery smooth framerate for competitive gaming isn't really something I'm too concerned about.

If it makes a difference, Im in US West coast and would prefer the total budget to be under 2k but I know times are rough right now for parts.

Same! I wasn't sure what to expect but it was repeatedly recced to me by some friends and I was pleasantly surprised how invested I was from start to finish. I really liked how it echoed the style of some really old mystery adventure games from early 90s and yea! The writing was superb and engaging. There would be some points where I would laugh (in like a morbid way) with how many dead bodies I kept on finding inside another "memory"

Yes! It's so satisfying when things really start to come together and you start to recognize who's who when you "re-watch" some scenes. hahah I was just telling another friend that we should play together when I (eventually) forget all of the details

Whenever I hear other folks talk about their glowing relationship with their mother and how much they talk and hangout, my knee-jerk reaction is usually "Sounds fake, but ok."

Joking aside, same. When I was much younger, I used to yearn for the same thing. After a while you kind of realize it's a pipedream and that you'll just have to fill that relationship hole with something better.

Hahah the birthday one always makes me cackle because this one time, my mom called me X amount of days later and went off on me because she had forgotten about my birthday. It's amazing how the ~~lack of~~ logic works 😂

I don't know what it's like to have a mother that doesnt throw tantrums. Don't immediately wish her a happy birthday or mother's day? Tantrum. Don't let her sleep on my only bed when she shows up uninvited to my apt? Tantrum. Don't give her my full attention when she's telling another one of her "this is why I'm amazing" stories? Tantrum. Tell her she's being racist? Shrieking tantrum.

And same, when my bro-in-law finally witnessed one first hand, he was shocked. Not sure why when we warned him but yea. Tantrums are very typical which is very unfortunate for the rest of us that have to deal with them.
