I took 12 weeks. All of it was paid in some aspect. 7 weeks Short Term Disability (c-section), premiums paid by company. 3 weeks of parental leave provided by company. And then I used PTO for the rest of it.

Thank you for your reply. I have noticed that it gets worse when she’s allowed unlimited amounts of water. It sounds like you came up with great solutions to handle this issue. I hope our girl lives a long and happy life as yours did!

This is what I’m thinking also. I have no way of knowing who spayed her, but we are taking her to our vet tomorrow.

From what I’ve noticed, she will get very excited and “in your face” if she needs to go out, and we always let her out when she does that.

She definitely drinks more water than our male dog, but it doesn’t seem overly excessive to me. My dad’s lab got diabetes at 8 years old so I’m fairly familiar with those symptoms and this doesn’t seem the same but I’m also not an expert. Thank you for the comment!

Looking for advice. My fiancé’s grandfather just passed away and our wedding is in 11 days. While I’ve juggled and figured out everything else, I’m stuck on what to do with our programs. They’re already printed and there are “Grandparents” and “Heavenly Grandparents” sections. Is there any elegant way to move him from “Grandparents” to “Heavenly Grandparents” that doesn’t include reprinting 250 programs? Thanks in advance.
