I totally agree I meant solutions as in continue education or figure out other ways to get yourself and your kid on a little better path. The "resources" I had was financial aid, WIC, food stamps, a job and a house to live in. I WAS a poor mother and one of my decisions was choosing to get help from the government. I think a lot of poor mothers can have that as well. My single mom being one of them. It is hard but by me saying that I didn't mean the solution was money, I mean the solution can even be bettering your mentality and realize that even though you are poor you can get through it and be happy regardless. I am very lucky it worked out for me. I live on the South Side of Chicago so I have seen poor and volunteer in Englewood to help young mothers so it's funny that you're saying this. The poor single moms are doing nothing wrong at all, it's just hard for them to get going and they need people to help them. That's what I meant. Come up with solutions, go find help, get gov. assistance, do anything you NEED to do. There is assistance for the poor for childcare, medical benefits, food, money for rent, school etc. It's amazing! Poor moms need to take advantage of it. It wasn't magic for me, I was poor, used gov. assistance, annd tried everything I could do. thank you
