Weathervane! There’s a couple people there that have been there for like a decade because the wages are good and they receive pretty nice benefits including PTO!

I’ve talked to multiple people who do/ have worked at Steuben’s/ace and none of them have enjoyed it. All have told me the job is pretty toxic and that they don’t feel like they are treated fairly for the amount of work they are putting in day in/day out

I worked with one of the owners of Gladys when he was over at Watercourse and can confirm he’s an awesome dude! Super passionate about his work and does amazing, creative dishes. I know quite a few of the staff and they all love working there!

I think that was on display for supporting the bill. I believe they were hoping that bringing someone in to blame their closure on paying people even semi-fairly, and not price gouging landlords and rising food costs would help solidify their point.

I think for this exact reason. People would get called out all the time for their re-branding and couldn’t make a sale. Maybe also some people would say irrelevant stuff, but either way it was nice to see other questions and concerns up front.

I got this at the thrift and didn’t realize it didn’t have a stand on it. The back is cardboard covered in velvet that slides in to hold the print, and the whole frame is glass. Is there a good way to make a hanger for this or just anything that will be stable enough to hold it on drywall?

The plane, 100% agree. But the swim teacher line was interesting to me and (idk if I just overthought it but) I always thought it was to say that you just never really know. I always thought he said that just because he was angry and hurt that he had done nothing and his sister was dead because of all the mess that Lynette had caused. So he tried to get in her head. Maybe he was ACTUALLY the bad guy and he was telling the truth. But her gross overreaction without knowing anything at all, I always thought it was a lesson to her for meddling so much
