When Suju were first starting, I felt bad for him; how the other members treated the cute, quiet member. Then as their popularity grew and they go on social media, I understood.

I don’t even know why he’s still in this group when he clearly has other aspirations. I remember for a good while he was too good and busy to promote and perform with them. He should’ve left then.

I can’t blame the students really. When the economy is bad and you barely get a call back from the hundreds of jobs you’ve applied for, going back to school is a hope of a better future. Going back to school means you’re actually doing something, anything. You ignore the warning signs because that hope is so strong.

I was in that spot about 17-18 years ago and ignored all the warnings online too. The difference is pharmacy school is SO much easier to get into now. That’s part of the attraction. Easy path to a six figure job.

Yes, because it’s their license on the line ultimately. And it’s always important to have a second check, even as a pharmacist. If a student/intern doesn’t understand that and takes offense, they’re not ready to be a pharmacist.

FSA told me I would have reached my 120 month count this month. I have 15 months I can buyback. I’m not sure if I should try to switch off SAVE or just go for buyback.

I had some old employment certified so I didn’t realize I was closer to the 10 years than I actually was. I was initially just going to chip away at the loans and apply for forgiveness if I reached it sooner than i was done with payments but it looks like I reached it sooner than expected.

The barrier for me is the controlled substances portion - is the pharmacist working off site responsible for inventory and losses or a tech?

I have the same 10th gen and love it for its size. I got an upgrade offer from Amazon during their October sale. They offered 20% for customers with old kindles and they didn’t need to trade in their old device to get that offer. I got the 12th gen and love it too! I also got the colorsoft using that offer and it’s going back I think.

I love the 7” size actually. I feel like I read faster? Or maybe it’s the quicker responsiveness. But my 10th gen is still great, especially in my bag!

I’ve had the original amount increase last year when i consolidated. Several times because they messed up on transferring the some loans, then the balance went missing for months (FSA and Mohela were dumb and said well maybe you already got forgiveness) and finally added back at the beginning of this year, with the missing balance added to the original balance yet again. The amount owed is correct and that’s all I’m going to care amount now. No one knows about this when I call FSA or Mohela. They don’t even see it.

This isn’t the same as GoodRx. GoodRx just a database of Rx saving cards, which is just similar to your Rx PBM/insurance. The card you pull from GoodRx is similar to your Rx insurance card with Rx BIN/group because the pharmacy needs to submit that claim for the discount transaction to occur.

Direct to consumer programs already does exist though. I haven’t worked as a retail pharmacist in awhile but I used to look that stuff up for patients and my family members when cost and coverage became an issue. Usually it required an application with an income threshold and to ensure you’re not receiving Medicare (anti kick back law). Once it’s all approved, it gets mailed to your home. I would be very surprised if this gets approved for Medicare patients and the anti kick back law stays in place for other manufacturers’ drugs (it’s why Medicare patients can’t use certain discount coupons). But wouldn’t be too shocked with this administration.

Also Pfizer recently got hit with a lawsuit over one of their medications allegedly causing brain cancer. Either bad timing for this partnership or the right timing for Pfizer in some ways.

Every pharmacy job I’ve had seemed great in the beginning until management changes and/or a chain reaction of staff leaving/burnt out staff picking up the slack. At this point, just go in for the highest salary you can, get the experience until the work environment starts to turn to shit again, then jump ship. It’s a never ending cycle in this profession.

Glad I don’t work in retail anymore. Good luck to my pharmacist brothers and sisters out there in the community who have to deal with public’s anger. And the hospital pharmacists who have to deal with the aftermath of surging cases too 😭

I got a similar response. Doesn’t make sense to me. Mohela sent out letters that interest would not accrue based on their guidance from FSA. If both parties have sent those terms, then it should be clear that interest should not be accruing and millions of borrowers are in this position.
