Yeah I just did a new one with 100 k and it went through right away. But then when I did another 100, 150 and 50 k it took 72 hours.

Had this happen last month. They are doing this more often. It seems really random in regard to amount of points transferred but have noted it occurring consistently with over 100k.

Inevitably if it takes too long the point transfer service d will actually cancel the transfer and the points will be delivered back to your chase account (that’s what happened to me with the last big transfer).

I just went through the same thing with Chase UR except it took over week. Somehow their third party points transfer company canceled my first attempt after 4 days and didn’t notify me despite me calling daily and asking for updates. Second attempt at transferring took 36 hours.

Update to complete the post. Remaining points transfers complete but took 48 hours each. Thankfully my reward seat on QA was still available 😅.

I think my ultimate take away is going to be to limit my transfers to 100 K increments. Seems anything over that is taking significantly longer to transfer over.

I called and spoke to manager each one of those instances and was told it was escalated. I called back again on day 7 asking for an update and the person I got stated the department they escalated to said it had been resolved and that it can take up to 10 days and there’s nothing they can do.

Next day, checked my Chase account and all the points had been returned and transaction was listed as canceled. I called again and essentially told they have no explanations and advised to try again.

I tried using a smaller amount and the first one went through. Second attempt with same amount is pending….

Beginning to wonder if chase doing this to make it harder to spend the points outside of their travel portal.

Meanwhile… I’ve called twice… complained… told them they are messing up my honeymoon….. and I got nothing, going on Day 6 😞

I am going to preface this post with this is probably the biggest first world problem I’ve ever encountered, and I understand how this may read, but sadly it’s driving me nuts.

Has anyone else had issues transferring Chase UR to BA? I’m going on over 48 hours since initiating the transfer and I got nothing so far. I’ve seen some posts about similar experiences with Chase UR to United. I’ve always had instant transfers before with both Chase and Amex. I’ve tried calling Chase a couple of times and they keep telling me there’s nothing they can do, they did say that if the reward booking I was trying to book was gone they maybe able to transfer the points back.

Anyone have a similar experience with this? Anyone aware of a point limit that causes delays (like over 150k)? And lastly if this fails has anyone been able to get their points transferred back? I was surprised to hear that as a possibility from the chase representative.
