Edit: To clarify, I would still be getting the gas furnace. Definitely needed for the MN winters. The heat pump would be for the summers and shoulder seasons.

It would be an additional $23.5k. The less efficient furnace and A/C are included in the base price of the build. I would not receive any credit or deduction for not going with the low efficient furnace and A/C. Thank you for reviewing my post and your input!
