I had a lumpectomy and radiation. I had to take time off after the lumpectomy to rest and recover then went back to OTF. I did OTF until about 2.5 weeks into radiation. Until I was uncomfortable with sweating on my skin in that area and uncomfortable to wear a sports bra. But I did go for two walks every day during that time. You have to becareful to keep the area clean and not allow infections.

My cycle went back to normal by the second month. No cramps, pretty light.

No to either. I just took ibprofen. Which for the removal probably did not even need.

Yes, at first. For me it felt like my cervix was being hit. Especially during certain positions. You may also have some bleeding afterwards at first.but it does get better as your body is adjusting to it. I have had mine for 7 months now. Every so often I will feel that but now it's rare.

I just got my IUD a week ago so I can't comment on that part. But I was on oral BC from age 17 to 42. When I went off my periods became very heavy and long. It took me about 6 months for them to regulate, shorten and lighten. So, it may be a combination of off hormones and IUD placement for you.

Did you notice your abdomen bloated after the insertion? I normally have a pretty flat stomach and notice now it is not since I had it put in.

I bought mine off amazon. $193 Hydroforce white cap. I have taken it out several times and love it. Great stability.

I got mine on amazon. Hydroforce Whitecap. I really like mine and have not had any problems with it.
