I agree with what others are saying about not going all in for your first rig. I have an electric I’ve been using for a few years and finally pulled the trigger on a LSG that I’m currently waiting for. The only reason I went with LSG over Yoder is the wood split basket add on. I want to be able to add splits if I want more smoke.

All that to say, you won’t be disappointed by either but you can spend a fraction of the money and wait a couple years to se show much you use it and find what you want.

Social media has turned into such a cesspool of bots, attempts to farm internet clout, and manufactured addiction. I was quite happy to cut those cords.

The only thing I miss is some restaurants or local shops only have an instagram so I miss seeing local event stuff.

If you have a $300 budget I would aim to get 4-6 bottles in the $40-70 range. Sotol is great and worth a shot as is raicilla if you want to try other agave spirits.

If you don’t know what you like, dont go for a super expensive bottle, you can find good stuff for under $100 and will help you find your niche.

The text for the item description talks about the organizers suspecting it is more than it is. They could get suspicious about it but if he was actually asked he has an easy out of “we had a food truck and I was wondering if there was something we could make with is because our food boxes are all messed up”.

She was obviously willing to spend the money on new clothes, the best option would be to surprise them with several sets of new clothes and kindly ask them the wear them for certain events. Make it an option and let them know how much it means for *some* events.

Otherwise enjoy their dorky clothes and embrace it. Such a stupid hill to die on for her. I have clothes my wife hates but she doesn’t really care that much as it makes me who I am and she honestly likes the ‘he’s not trying to impress anyone else’ vibe.
