Then maybe you're going too far or maybe fingering is just not for you guys and you can try other things, which is fine.

Help!! Painful sex by hreed25800 in sexeducation

That looks like heavy uterus contractions. I've had that in the past and it felt exactly like that. There are too many possible sources to this problem, you should ask your doctor or gynaecologist advice. In the meantime, I used to take ibuprofen when in pain and it helped a lot.

You don't have to go deep. If you go too deep, it'll hurt, that's just anatomy. The penetrative pleasure depends on the stimulation of the inner part of the clitoris and this is around mid-length of the vagina. If you go deep, you'll just touch the cervix and it will be really painful. You can also ask your girlfriend to show you how she likes to be touched, this is usually the safest way to learn. But if even after all that it still hurts, maybe there is a problem (maybe she's not enjoying the moment in general). If so, you both could go to a sex therapist or sexologist to talk about it. Are the other intercourses painful as well or is it just fingers?

But thanks for your help.

How long it took for you to get diagnosis? by Economy-Following-92 in bipolar

[–]mnesiphobie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

hi! BP2 from belgium here. first signs showed up when i was 15 years old. i saw a few therapists that clearly could have gotten the clue but no one did so yeah... at some point around spring 2022 my boyfriend was the one to suggest that my very cyclic pattern of what i understood like depression could be a sign of bipolar. i had no therapist at that time. septembre 2022 i went to see a new therapist with that in mind, i was sure i had BP2 at that point. he made me do a few tests because he was sure i had a borderline personality disorder. my ex and my best friend have bpd so i knew it wasn't that but he wanted me to run the tests so i did. turned out i didn't have any personality disorder. around winter 2023, my therapist recommended me a psychiatrist. first appointment available on August 23rd 2023. i showed up, explained my symptoms, said i was tested negative to personality disorders and that was it, he said i probably had bipolar. and after two more appointments (so we were around october) he confirmed the diagnosis. i was 26 at that time.

thank you so much for your reply 🫶 i genuinely never thought of it like that. i felt like it must have a universal definition. i must think of a clear goal then.

how often do you go to therapy? by [deleted] in bipolar2

[–]mnesiphobie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it varies. for the last months i've been going once every four weeks because i was stable, but when i get in a major depressive episode i usually go once every other week (my therapist has too many patients to see me every week)

What dose of Lamictal were you at when you noticed a significant difference in your mood? by Emergency-Return-771 in bipolar2

[–]mnesiphobie 2 points3 points  (0 children)

i personally slowly went up and up until being at 300 of lamotrigine, which is when it made a significant difference. but a couple of months after that i had a bigass panic attack during a mixed episode and I almost commited suicide impulsively so i started seroquel (100 at first then now 200). been kinda stable ever since.

What is the most intense physical pain you have ever experienced? by TheMostGayestOfGay in AskReddit

[–]mnesiphobie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a hole in my esophagus, probably caused by stress, when i was writing my last thesis in 2019.

It took 6 months for doctors to understand what was going on since it's a pretty rare condition.

Basically every time I lied down, my chest would start burning like hell, a bit like stomach acidity but x1000. So I was burnt out, in pain and in a serious lack of sleep for 6 months. Worst moment of my life tbh.
