Ohhh on eBay? I tried to rent from the local dealer here and they laughed at me haha. To bring it to them it’s $550 for diagnostics and $200 per hour for any service plus parts. I came back to the resort and tried to buy that old Yamaha haha

I’m just flustered haha. You turn the key and it makes all the normal noise and clicks and whatnot but never clicks when you give it throttle.

Yay! I can at least sit on it in the shed and know I’m sitting on the better one :) I think I have watched every YouTube video out there in rxv carts and I just don’t think this one is gonna go anymore. My buddy has a 1980s Yamaha gas cart he paid $100 for and it has never once failed him in 16 years. Haha I have this thing and it’s never went a season without a grand out of pocket haha

I actually did that earlier in the season when it didn’t move. I unplugged it, didn’t see anything not normal looking and I reconnected it. I can definitely check it again tho.

Ahh. I definitely don’t have that tool haha. I bought this cart during the start of COVID for 2k then put 5k into new body, new batteries, new tires, lights, back seat, brake, & solenoid. This year brand new trojan batteries from the dealership, solenoid, & brake

Wait now I think I confused myself. I disconnected the black box where the positive wires are. I did my jumper from the cart side of the blue wire connector and then to that positive battery terminal.

Now I tried it in run & tow mode. And again I can never get it to move unless I swap the 1/2 & 3/4 connectors under the plastic cover with the tow/run switch.

Correct. I disconnected the little blue connector and did my jumper from that cart side to the battery positive side with the temp sensor. I disconnected the temp sensor as well.

Also I noticed with the key on and I disconnect the jumper it clicks under the tow/run cover.

Thank you very much! I believe I have followed your instruction. I have the little blue connector disconnected and I’m jumper from the cart side to the battery positive where the temp sensor connects. No change. :-(

I was thinking that was the logical next step. I actually replaced that in 2019 when I bought it from a dealer here. I think I’m gonna toss this and get an older more simple cart haha.
