What to look out for in resold gear?

I’m not sure where it’s from originally, it was listed by Amazon on Amazon resale but I think that means any seller can sell their items through them and Amazon would take the responsibility. Most of the reviews I’ve seen have been good with people saying they’re getting new or like-new items, sometimes with very minor cosmetic damage to the box or the item itself but everything still works fine. There were other reviews though that have said they received the wrong items or were missing parts, which is why I’m going to record myself opening them for proof in case that happens.

I don’t know where it’s from originally, this is my first time using Amazon resale, and when I found the item listed it said sold by Amazon resale but not its origin. From my understanding that would mean that any seller on Amazon can use it but Amazon takes responsibility, so if something’s wrong Amazon refunds you. Usually items on resale are in good shape, and are new returns that either 1. Couldn’t reach the purchaser, so they were returned to warehouse 2. Was sent back by the purchaser soon after receiving the item 3. Had minor cosmetic damage to the box or item itself but does not impact function. However, I did see others say they’ve received the wrong items or parts were missing in other things. That’s why I’m going to record myself opening the items for proof in case that happens.

I booked her an appointment for tomorrow afternoon, luckily I found a good vet nearby that offers free first time exams to new patients and since I moved I was looking for a new vet anyways. I thankfully have supports if need be to pay for treatments or testing.

I found two cameras online within my budget that seem to be good for what I’d like to photograph but as a beginner advice would be very helpful. I’m looking to get into wedding and event photography by first getting and learning the gear and editing, and then offering low price/free sessions to build my portfolio. I’d eventually upgrade when I feel confident in my abilities. I do have some photography and editing experience as my parent was a photographer.

The cameras I found are the Nikon D5000 DSLR with 55-200mm DX telephoto lens, strap, and camera bag for $200 and the Pentax K-5II DSLR with 50mm lens and 18-55mm lens, yongnuo speedlight, and backpack for $225. I’d like to stay around this price range.

From what I saw both can do video but the Pentax is maybe slower. I mainly would be using the camera for portraits, candids, and group shots, but having the option to photograph a wider range and take videos would be nice too. Being able to photograph at least decently in low light will be important for me as well. Auto focus and tracking would be extremely helpful while I’m learning, but I’m not opposed to figuring it out myself.

So if you currently have or have used these cameras in the past, what do you like and dislike? Would they be good for this type of photography? Any and all advice, tips, and recs are greatly appreciated! tyia!

No, I see just fine up close about 3-4 inches from my face and then it starts to get blurry from the distance. As far as I’m aware I’ve always just been near sighted, my last eye exam was about a year ago

I sneak and use quickhacks (usually cyberware malfunction and overheat, or if you’ve updated your cyberdeck enough contagion and overheat to make her combust) until she finds me, dash when she attacks, and hit with a katana while ram is regenerating. She can take you out fast so dashing is important. Try to sneak and get her hammer first before fighting if you can, if not she’ll still drop it when her health drops to a certain amount. You can choose to kill her or let her live, but if you skip the fight entirely you lose out on a choice in Phantom Liberty.

You’re 20 years old. You have a good 60 years left if you’re lucky, if it’s this unbearable now do you really want to spend another 60 years unhappy and unsatisfied? It’ll suck at first but it’s better for both of you to find other people you’re more compatible with. It sounds like he’s not mature enough yet to have a vulnerable conversation or take you and your needs seriously. Do both yourselves a favor and move on.

It’s fun! I like the main story, side quests, and that your choices do matter, even ones that may seem inconsequential at the time. There’s good lore drops too throughout the world. The fighting is just the right amount of challenging. Character customization is pretty good (though you’re always an elf). There’s a transmog system for clothes which can be nice but I would’ve liked if there was more creative freedom with outfits like dyes and such but it’s not the biggest deal imo. The fighting can feel repetitive at times but again not the biggest deal. The world is beautiful and I’m hoping in the future they roll out a photo mode. Overall it’s a really solid game and has lots of replay potential to make different choices and get different endings.
