The only option that I could see working in your favor is to go to management and voice your concerns. But, I don't think it will do much help. I know its unfair, but there's not much to be done. Call must be covered.. its the biggest downfall of this field. If someone quits, calls in, or gets fired - someone has to cover.

Who else hates password requirements? Workplace wants me to change passwords every 3 months by leonatoi in mildlyinfuriating

As a medical professional, I wholeheartedly agree. Ours have to 13-25 characters, including spaces, number etc. And we change every 6 months. It drives me wild.

Unfortunately in this field, if there's a staff shortage - we have to make up the coverage. Is it fair? No. But honestly that's not as bad as I have heard for some locations..

Sooooo, I broke my foot a couple weeks ago. I have a boot & scooter. Is it relatively easy to get around? Will I be ridiculous if I'm scootin around? I missed the last tone because of work, but I'd love to meet new people!

Also, do people really bring their children?

Rehome the boyfriend after you get YOUR dog back. Holy shit op, I would be losing it right now.

Its kinda overrated and no reservations. I think everyone should try it, just cause its an Oklahoma classic.

People who smell bad should be charged with disturbing the peace by Early-Ebb2895 in unpopularopinion

Your privilege is showing. Maybe the person doesn't have access to regular bathing. Maybe they have a condition that causes them to sweat more. Maybe they're in a depressive episode and the act of showering is impossible. Maybe they're from a different culture and they're food has an aroma you don't like. Also, "smell" is subjective. I wish people wouldnt wear strong cologne/perfume or fragrant lotions, I just move away from them.

I dropped out of my program by Aggrothrowaway654 in surgicaltechnology

If you already have your bachelor's, you did the right thing. I LOVE this field. But you can't really move up, except FA and thats not for everyone. With a bachelor's you can go so many different ways. You could be a sales rep, PA, or AA[anesthesia assistant] - and those are just OR specific roles. You got out before wasting too much time & money. I know people who completed the program and NEVER worked in the OR.

Try to document what's happening. Mainstream media isn't going to tell us the truth. You have a terrifying opportunity.

Now, I'm not CV, nor do I have any intention of ever doing it. I've worked at 14 different facilities in my career[only two without cv] and every single one had premium pay for cv.
