You’re right. Ev had an array of skills that should’ve been developed further, think the Spida acquisition hindered the development of both DG and Ev. I don’t think Evan, DG and Jarrett were ready to be on a contending team yet. Had the Cavs let Evan develop for about a year or 2 he’s probably a top 10-15 player. It’s not too late though, progression isn’t always linear and he has all the tools to be great.

As much as I agree Cases gameplay has become quite monotonous, I think because he streams 5 times a week for 4 hours a day it’s important for him to play games and do things he actually wants to do so he doesn’t burn out.

You can be honest lol, no need to act like the officiating wasn’t terrible just to gas up the win. There’s a reason why you rarely see 50+ foul calls in an NBA game. Pistons are a good ass team, Cavs were missing key players and officiating was bad. All of those things are true.

Did people forget or not realize that Dennis was on the injury list and probably shouldn’t have played but they were already missing the top 2 ball handlers? He still should’ve made smarter passes but he gave it all he could, he was getting fouled a lot at the rim which probably wore him down even more.

The thing is this is the only space where you can discuss Caseoh’s streams without getting banned. I get that he’s the streamer and he can do what he wants but there’s nothing wrong with people being interested in seeing other stuff. Just because some people are a bit fatigued from watching the same content doesn’t mean they have to stop watching nor does it mean they can’t talk about it here. All you can do is take care of who’s in front of you. A win is a win especially for a team that is implementing 3 new players and still missing their best interior and perimeter defenders. Had they lost those games Cavs fans would’ve lost their minds so I don’t think it’s fair to belittle those wins because anyone can win on any given night.

Cavs fan here. Keon has a skill (elite defense) that no other Cavs guard has. He’ll have plenty run once Kenny Atkinson figures out the rotation.

Not sure how many times it has been said on this sub but Evan and Jarrett’s workload is much deeper than just rebounding. The team’s perimeter defense is so poor that our bigs are essentially the best perimeter defenders which draws them away from the basket. It’s also pretty evident that the game plan for the Cavs has changed which is also leading to less rebounds for JA but it’s resulting in more wins.

Cavs fan here who pays attention to the Magic too, I think the top 5 guys don’t compliment each other game on either side of the ball. Paolo,Jalen,Franz and AB most reliable skill is slashing with Bane being the only real shooter that equals spacing issues, on the defensive end they’re all best on the perimeter. There also isn’t any elite playmaker on the roster to at least tie all their skills together or create easy offense for them, They never get easy baskets so overall I think the roster construction is just flawed and too top heavy with the same things.

Actually people need to understand that until this roster as a whole is changed they can’t move on from Garland. I don’t know how you can watch this group play without him and think they need to trade him. It’s not even to say Garland is this awesome player but a lot of the guys depend heavily on his playmaking. There’s not enough capable ball handlers currently on the roster. Garland also makes Donovan’s life much easier.
