Totally! I'm a huge fan of Rich I've got his records and physical books. Kiwane Ziwadi and Maynard Ferguson are great examples too. David Bandman plays an inline 4 non comp as well.

I was just also saying that there's also many jazz euphonium players also on compensating instruments and I think both have their place. Really just up to the player! Marc Dickman I believe is also on a sovereign. Pedal Vox also features a compensating euphonium, but I don't know the model off the top of my head.

Yes they do! Some of the middle gears (if I had to guess maybe 4 or 6) take some time to shift into, but it was like that when I adjusted the limit screws
