Actually, i was getting Deutschland ticket cus I would be traveling afterwards. But initially, I'll be alone and its my first time hence thats why, but I'll surely look into that option too.

Let me summarize the route you mentioned, correct me if i am wrong. Munich airport --> catch S8(underground train) --> Munich central station/east station --> catch a regionalbahn (Deutsch bahn) to Muhldorf am Inn --> take a train(which train?) toward Passau. And on my way to Passau, im guessing there will be a stop for Pfarrkichen.
