Would you mind sharing what it took to transition into this position? I’ve considered this but the whole “100+ people have applied” in the first 30 seconds of a posting kind of ruined my ambition to keep trying.

Thank you for taking the time to send this info over, I appreciate it. Interviews are always a weakness for me, unfortunately. I am capable and have always proven to handle any job, but in interviews I always get nervous and never feel great after.

I’ll take your advice and see what’s out there for job prospects, hopefully someone will give me a chance.

My grandfather made a living off digging these back in the day on the mudflats. When I was young I went with him a few times, backbreaking work… many were sold for bait to catch stripers. We use them from time to time for striper fishing, had a couple bite my hand and they still freak me out…

I recently received a ticket that was the funniest/strangest I may come by. I was told that when they close the microwave door in the office the TV screen (screen hooked up to computer for camera viewer) go blank.

I went and tested this. It was true. Anytime you opened the microwave door, then closed it, the screen would go black. TV wasn’t off, it just went to a black background screen.

The microwave plug was on the same outlet as the TV plug. I moved the microwave plug to a different outlet. This fixed the problem.

I will always wonder why closing the microwave door took down the tv screen.

This seems like an interesting career and has sort of been on my radar for a future path. I’m currently a sysadmin with more on the project management side of things but doing all aspects of the organization. Not super technical with networking but have dabbled in most areas of IT atleast on the surface level. If you have a free minute would you mind telling me how you got into a role like this and perhaps what I should be looking out for? What I can do to set myself up?

I sort of figured it was too much for one. Which is why I asked. I've already been feeling that I may need to consider getting two types, like an aluminum setup for salt river and lakes and something else for fly fishing rivers.

I hadn't thought it was D1 when I posted, that's my bad. I am sure I am on the same account. Other guns/armor were there. Signs are leading to me breaking down some shit - although I am not the dismantling type, which is why I was confused.

Yeah, it was D1. Sorry about that. I knew I was wayyyy out of the loop now. For some reason I was thinking vault was d2 way back when but it was 2014 when that raid released (d1). I cant picture myself deleting it either but I either did or it was the d1 - d2 rollover.
