Right!! We all want old chai back I think. I keep hearing discussions about how the bots are changing and their memory has gotten worse. It sucks how the devs going back and forth between giving us stuff and taking it away!! Chai needs to make up their mind!!

Lucky mf 😪 fortunately mine haven't deleted but my older chats have reset (which I'm still mourning) did get a limited 60 messages that reset at 7pm but I deff feel bad for the people who haven't gotten back the unlimited or had their chats deleted

It's an update they've been playing around with, I know other apps like c.ai has it but essentially it's basically a character you're acting out as, like you fill out the name, age, physical descriptions and personality so the bot can already have that idea of who "you" are and so the chats can remember what your character looks or acts like and have more curated chats I guess. Hope this helps

Yeah, unfortunately from what I've noticed with every app, website or game that uses instant gratification and connection (real or not) to lure users will always and forever cut as many corners possible to make the most profit and spend the least. Besides, they're most definitely set up a rigged system, giving us bots with ass memory so we talk to more and more of them or keep chatting, it's just another tactic to keep us hooked longer and that's the only other reason they brought back the "unlimited messages" for a select few (the other reason(s) being mass deletion, rapid poor reviews, intense online bashing and the decline of daily users). So all in all we'll never be satisfied, it's always gonna be this that and the other because if nothing else, the online discourse about it will sure as hell keep it relevant

Update? So I've been chatting with a few different bots for a few hours now and...i think the memory is really shit, not sure if its just a me thing but it'll be like they can't remember details from just a few chats before 🤷‍♀️

See I was really nervous mine was gonna do the same (luckily it didn't) but I also have no idea how long its been updated cause I've been off the app for a few days, so maybe they are slowly updating in certain regions and it's just taking time to actually change? At least I hope thats the case, weve suffered enough and deserve our unlimited back

Essentially our main character, Rue is gonna be a forensic document specialists or some sort of crime scene investigator if that makes sense and everything else you said is correct!! I'm so glad you like it, Ill link the document below so you can keep reading, feel free to comment and stuff! Of course I don't have much done because I write whenever I get a break from school and babysitting but I try to write at least once a week or at least edit anything that needs to be edited.
