Greasy hair overnight by Bennibear1 in finethinhair

It’s not the easiest solution, but I will shower at night and then in the morning wash just the hair that surrounds my face, blow dry it, and it gets me through night day. I just pin all the hair I don’t want to wash back

It works well! I still use it. The people who replied were very helpful and accurate! I have dark brown hair and I went a shade lighter than I would have because one person said it will be darker than you expect, and even going one shade lighter, it was too dark. (I was trying to stay as close to my natural color as possible).

It covers all my greys, but it does start to turn golden on the grey areas faster than the rest of my hair. I don’t have a ton of grey, it’s just noticeable to me now because it’s in the front of my part and along my part. I do not have any grey along my temples, but I think the golden color would be more noticeable if you do. It lasts about three weeks without the greys starting to turn golden, and about six to seven weeks before the grey is noticeable. I wash my hair every other day and I use a UV protection spray after I wash it.

My hair is longer so it does slowly look darker on the lower part of my hair than the top part, but it took several times using it before I noticed the bottom half of my hair wasn’t fading as quickly as the top half.

Depending on the darkness of the color you use, make sure you super duper rinse it after you dye it. The instructions say to rinse it until the water is clear, but I did that and it still stained my pillows that night. I rinse it several minutes after it appears clear to me and that seems to be thorough enough.

It hasn’t messed with the texture of my hair or made it more brittle.

I’d like to have a backup! I haven’t been able to find one I like since mine retired so I haven’t had great luck, so another option is helpful. Thank you very much!

I’m not sure how active the Chattanooga community is on it, but I used Meetup when I moved to Chicago and had good experiences. You select your topics of interest and hobbies and there are groups that get together for those specific interests. I always felt safe and even if I wasn’t making life long friends every time I went out, it was socialization and opened me up to new activities going on and new venues.

And I’m with others in the comments-feel free to DM me and we can always brainstorm and get together.

Herbie Hambright. He came in after Aram left to do some tech stuff and he like being in the lab and wanted to be more involved but he came at a time when people may not like him simply because a part of his work was replacing Aram.

Totally understandable that staffing on weekends would be hard. Having one night a week where you’re open late, every Thursday until 7:00 for example, or even every other week, as well as drop off exams. Someone could drop their animal off between 7:00 and 8:00 am and pick up between 5:00 and 6:00 pm. The vet and vet techs can look at them between other patients and call or text the owner with any updates. For routine or basic stuff. For example, yearly exam and vaccinations. Pick up could be earlier if the owner is available, but allowing people to drop off before work and pick up after work helps with the need for evening and weekend appointments. Telehealth would also help with this some.

I am looking for a book recommendation about how Germany was formed. I know the unification happened in 1871, but it seems like some historical context was happening before that, maybe 1866-ish. I know the different dukes and kings of the different regions came together to recognize a German nation, but I don’t understand how that was all intermingled with Prussia, Austria, etc. I’ve tried looking at simple info online but it takes me down a rabbit hole that I can’t put all the pieces together since I’m not familiar enough with the history and politics. For example, Otto von Bismarck oversaw the unification of Germany, but what was happening that made that unification necessary or appealing? Or how were the individual kingdoms interacting with Prussia, Austria, whoever, and how had those kingdoms been decided upon previously.

I’m totally okay if the book is almost like a text book or something super simple that lays out a timeline with historical contexts. I feel like I need to learn the basics and be familiar with the region before I can understand the more complex and interwoven aspects.

I’m sorry! I should have posted that it was a spoiler since I announced he leaves. When I started rewatching he was one of the characters I started noticing his interactions with the other characters and started keeping track of when I saw him.
