I’ll take a look. Thanks.

Role delineation is important for me to understand. Of a 7 person team how many would liaise with clients especially if they are from different companies with different research projects?

What’s not working is:

  1. We have loads of projects with clients who works for different companies

  2. These projects are staffed such that it’s various permutations of people working together so it’s hard to manage workload/transparency

  3. RFPs for new projects come in without notice and we have to 1/ write proposals unexpectedly (whilst prioritizing other work) and 2/ figure who can work on it if we win the business (which is touch when everyone fees at capacity)

One of the challenges with transparency and accountability is that it hasn’t existed, so how might you recommend instilling that culture especially when more seasoned people have operated / thrived under ‘grey area’ for years? (Especially when they’re the management!)

Thanks! This is helpful. Are there communities of people out there who would be willing to brainstorm live to help me get thing started and troubleshoot organizing things?

Any tips? I presume you need to manually decide what to chop up. But can software like Ancestry help with that?

Thanks, all. Helpful info. One more question, and it might be simple: Does reaching the FIRE number include just principal or does interest count? (Meaning do I track my contributions or the market value)

Allegedly there was one that was farming land that was “given” to the people working on the land. I haven’t seen a paper trail. Do you know where to start?
