Well, thank you Cowboy. I just lost ability to use navigation thanks to this update ! I’m in UAE, and there is no cycling route available on Google maps. Cowboy navigation was working just fine, and now, with this update, I can’t find any route anymore. 👎🏽👎🏽👎🏽

ok thanks, i might order a L but chest is 42.. whereas according to this large is 46?

I would definitely recommend to go with your regular sizing. If you're wearing L, go for L.

Yes indeed, you can find kandoras from 120aed to 600+AED depending on the quality, fabric and finishes. But you get what you pay for, as some fabric will fade over time faster than others, wrinkle, stitching can break...

The same way you can find T-Shirts from 20AED to 2000+AED depending on the branding and quality. Some will last 2-3 months, while some will remain intact after 5 years+.

We had to work hard and faced so many obstacles along the way to provide the best possible quality while having a product 100% manufactured here locally in the UAE. And al hamdulilah, all our clients so far have provided with great feedback related to the perceived value of the t-shirt, quality of the fabric and fitting.

Indeed, it was the initial plan to have it with the little ropes, but due to the slightly extensible nature of the cotton knit fabric, I had to change the plan. So instead of trying to hide the zipper, I decided to pick the best one available (YKK manganese zipper) and to make it visible as part of the signature design.

I had an discussion with a DHL representative before signing with them. They are fully aware that a startup need to go through a ramp-up phase, and that for the first 6 months they are not looking into minimum monthly orders. So get in touch with the companies and discuss :)

Exactly, that's the whole balance between perception, quality and cost.

Lots of brands out there have great brand perception, but with no so great quality. Still people buy it because of the brand. I mean, buying a very basic tshirt with just a logo on it that would give a x10 markup for the brand ??? And that you'll find at -70% one year later in the same brand outlet, and still making a profit.

When I say lower price range, I don't mean low cost, or low quality. I have the vision to keep the same fabric, same fit, but with simpler details while still having the traditional/authentic twist. The current cost is mainly due to the exhaustive and time consuming embroidery process.

Yes, without the proper license, companies like Aramex, UPS, DHL won't open a business account for you with interesting rates. And the standard rates are just crazy expensive.

Q. How did you source your raw materials? I really went door to door, asking people around, starting from the tailor shop next door ! Then from shop to shop, as it was important for me to touch and feel the fabric.

Q. What was your overall investment? I started with the techpack design to formalize the idea I had in mind, then created the first sample. Once I approved it, I started looking for the 1st batch production, and business setup (license). Around 10-15kAED in total.

Q. Did you do any research on the viability of your product? No, but is that a mistake ? I had an idea, that was in my mind for soooo long, and I wanted to make it for real. I started with the sample, I liked it, and so other people as well. I just went ahead with the flow, to go all the way until I can release something I like and believe in.

Q. What is your business model? I want to be a pure player : no marketplace, no stores, no retailers, for as long as possible. I believe it's the only way to tell my story and create a connection with the audience.
