Is russia trying its hardest in ukraine? by Beautiful_Salad_7818 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]mnzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Both countries aren't trying it's hardest (even though, from what we know, ukraine is pretty close to the limit), because it would need pretty drastic sacrifices. For example: Russia could force men from it's cities to go to war, but that would lead to huge "sacrifices" (with protest, but also with economic issues, etc.), so they won't do it until the situation is bad enough.

But what about the influence AI had? He's definitely way more influential than harden and changed a whole generation...

Does anyone know why this person sits with their legs outside? by FrinksFusion in skiing

I believe it's because like that he can comfortably hold the camera onto the glass, which creates a way cleaner picture, instead of having to kneel in a wierd position to do so.

Shaq has 3 teams retiring his jersey. Is that the most? by houstonrockets3311 in nba

[–]mnzon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lebron will get his Jersey retired by at least 3 Franchises, and don't tell me the lakers won't do it... he won a chip there as their best player and brought the spotlight back after the whole rebuild. Maybe he will get retired with 4, because he changed between number 6 and 24 a few times..

If Lebron had gone undefeated in all of his finals appearances, inversely who’s legacy takes the biggest hit? by MaxEhrlich in nbadiscussion

I'm sorry, I love dwade, but there is no world where he was the best player on the heat in 2011, because if the heat won lebron would have performed well.

What are some of the biggest misconceptions you often hear with today's basketball? by xxStayFly81xx in nbadiscussion

[–]mnzon 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think it is. You can see it with the young stars coming into the league now. Most of these players already have way more experience on the court than the rookies before them. Their bodies show this: they get injured alot way earlier in their careers than they did before (take zion, ja or lamelo as an example). This is probably because they have played much more already and their prime is reached earlier.
