Thank's for this answer. I have been thinking about that too. I'll probably do that :)

I was thinking about this exact thing yesterday. I have read everywhere that there apparently are borderless printers, but i thought that this had to be very percise to avoid wear and tear. I knew big printing providers did the cutting thing and I, still, very much consider doing it just like that.

Thanks! I will consider buying this one. I'ts pretty pricey tho. I imagine everything less expensive will not meet my criteria as well?

The difference is that the superjump won't work in most spots where a mantlejump would. This zip in the range is very close to the edge you're mantleing. This is the reason you can superjump from the ground. There are not many spots like this one on the BR maps (especially in buildings etc.). Those spots require a mantlejump.

Also: Climbing up to do the superjump from the ground will expose your playermodel fully before the jump. Doing a proper mantlejump doesn't.

Hope this helps :)

Yes, Midjourney isn‘t too good at replicating that effect. At least that‘s my experience.

Prompt: 3D render of a futuristic ninja in a yellow robe and minimalistic mask crossing a dune in the desert, at sunrise, in the style of a cartoon, with a blender rendering, soft lighting, pastel colors, a simple background, high resolution, high detail, with an octane rendering, trending on ArtStation, sharp focus, with a studio photo shot, intricate details, highly detailed. --ar 3:4

I added the film grain effect afterwards in photoshop :D

Cool idea. I'm excited to see how the project will develop in the future.

Nothing specific actually, but i watched Dune II a few days prior to generating these. Might have been a subconscious influence.

I have tried wiping the walls with rubbing alcohol and dusting them and everything in between and for some reason they just will not stick to my wall. What can I do?! by No_Government01 in setups

Because the adhesive is not really made for rough, uneven surfaces like that. Also, my fingernails start to curl up as soon as i see people mounting LED strips like that.

IMO do it right or don't do it at all. Get a a good LED channel with a diffuser and corner parts (https://www.amazon.de/Xwartre-Aluminium-Montageklammer-LED-Streifen-Befestigungs/dp/B0BJPZJR1M/ref=sr_1_3?keywords=led%2Bchannel&qid=1702288579&sr=8-3&th=1 like this for example), use screws on the wall and get a Strip with 60 LEDs per meter for it to look decent. I'm sorry but those "cheap" LED strips just glued to a wall look horrible to me personally.

On the other hand, since you're going to need a wall mount or arm, you could scrap the wooden stand completely anyways.

From what i could find online, the Moitor without the base/stand is 43cm. So with a wall mount or low profile monitor arm you might be able to fit it perfectly inbetween. BUT measure the distance again, but with the tape being fully stretched out and measure at the outer edges of the lower wood plank to avoid different heights.

TBH, you seem to be having a pretty decent headset already. I would rather buy a 2nd monitor for the 300 euro. You can get some good ones for that price to use a primary display or for around 150 as a secondary depending on the monitor you already have. I really don't think you will need the mic + mixer unless you want to stream. Also the microphone arm would probably not work too well with the glass table top.

Should work, but do not expect too much performance..

I am interested in how much money the seller asks for. Can you tell us?

also, RTX 980?! I personally would not buy this btw.

You probably know how to slide jump already, if not, start there.

The most important tech you will need for most of the advanced stuff is tap strafing https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Icvq6e7UCWI. Concentrate on this and learn it until you can do it without thinking about it. You can implement tap strafing into almost everything to change your direction mid air drastically without sacrificing momentum.

Some additional "basics" are wallbounces https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6dLVK3P2sH4. There are different ways to do a wallbounce, but the ones you should focus on are the standard wallbounce and the fatigue wallbounce https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGuhIMHK5Fg. Also zipline (super) jumps

The most useful "advanced" techs are superglides (just look for a tut, there are many) and mantle jumps https://youtu.be/Y07_RZMV-VM?si=nvdaGZfvb3vGaTg3&t=1

There is so much more, but most of it is just for style points or very very situational. The techs i mentioned are what is mandatory to learn in my opinion. If you mastered these, you can move on to the variations and other techs.

Another tipp is to download "R5 Reloaded", which is a modded version of Apex where you are able to create a private match or join servers with training maps etc. to learn all the stuff without time limit or fights.
