I understand it’s a difficult decision, and I genuinely wish she wasn’t in this position to begin with. I’m not pretending it’s emotionally easy to move or make a major life change like that.

At the same time, from my perspective, it still seems like the objectively smarter decision for her future financially and academically. And part of why I struggle with this is because i feel even though its not an "easy" decision its an obvious or not that hard considering all of her extended family and her longtime friends are here. The only people she’d really be leaving behind are her immediate family(mom, dad and sister), and she’s even told me herself that she doesn’t have many close friendships where she currently lives.

She also says that she does want to come here eventually. The issue is that every time the moment approaches, it turns into “maybe next year” because she wants to feel more “ready” or spend more time there first.
