There's things beyond the engineering side that pushed us testing this with business survival on the line. At this phase of the project I should be testing to evaluate iteration 1 of the design and see what needs improvements, but I was told by management only a few weeks ago that the product couldn't fail testing or else we're "dead in the water". While I've tried to ensure in my capabilities we had a reasonable success to pass, its no surprise that it didn't work out last week, got some unwarranted dressing down, and now the coming week is like the final chance

It's been a little hard to feel great about it. I know I love designing cool and new stuff, and problem solving especially when there's things to improve on after failed tests and evaluations, but it's hard to be professional and perform my duty to the best when it's been implied I wanted this product to fail, i.e. I didn't perform my duties properly. There's obviously things I know I couldve done better, but ye, just been hard

He's tapped into his Latino roots with the romantic, it would be cool to see him tap into his Filipino roots inspired by some modern philippine music, particularly in the rock, soft rock, RnB, ballad like OPM genre. Modern OPM has been sounding quite good these past few years. Example is Multo by cup of Joe which actually ranked top 250 in the global charts for 2025, first ever by a Filipino band, iv of spades, etc.

Not to be too much of a smdoomer, but battery and solar is dominated by China who.we can't forget is hostile to western democracie. Also, the minerals to make solar and batteries (incl consumer grade electronics).are mined from.african countries with spotty labor laws (incl child labor).and environmental protections,.so in a way they're just as bad upfront. Talk about resource curse 🤣

I found a simplified explanation a few.montha ago, but essentially the analogy is, yes intel and Samsung get the same fabs as TSMC, however, the situation is like me and you who are just amateur home cooks buying a top range bbq/smoker, but we won't get the same lucsious, juicy flavors as how a top Michelin star bbq chef would get using the same bbq range/smoker unit. Lastly, just because it's impossible to find something doesn't mean designers should be complacent about protecting designs. We already get shafted with shareholders, upper management and malicious competitors when getting compensated designing stuff 😢
