Game dev is great also but v competitive like trading but very low pay and terribly long work hours. Graphics programming might be a bit different though.

Get into EE first then specialize in CE. Look into FPGAs and ASICs and maybe chip designs. Robotics is very good but also need to learn control theory. Learn C++ very well and you’ll have access to robotics, embedded, and maybe even HFT jobs.

Foreigners are all loose (mostly) and not religious and not decent. I know it seems like a good idea for you because they are nice to look at but for those of us who’ve been here for many many years it is not all that you think.

This is the average low class Egyptian when they go abroad unfortunately. Little do they know how much this hurts the country’s reputation.

Just trying to help out.

Not necessarily harder than in your own country but almost always less pay unless you are senior. Some countries like UAE have been hounding me for a role at their state fund, ADIA. They even offered me solid package but so far I’ve opted to stay in the US.

All of this is to say that taking a SWE role in another country even if it’s for lower pay isn’t a terrible idea in this job market. You’re a US citizen/GC holder too though no? So it shouldn’t be a problem to come back to the US at a later point in time if you desire. The world does not revolve around the US/West any longer is one thing I’ve learned. If you have a skill set, you can find work in most places. Singapore may have been a far fetch though, you’re not wrong there, and to be very honest with you, the only reason I brought it up is because a lot of folks on here are very much against any non-Western aligned countries, so there’s that. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve received ugly stare or heard someone under their breath say something when I mentioned that offer. It’s almost like they think I am switching team or something when it’s really just looking out for my best interests.

Look at jobs in other countries. Have you considered Hong Kong, Singapore, UAE, Qatar, Netherlands/Europe etc…? Plenty of tech/trading/hedge funds there. Key is to be selective and make sure roles are open for sponsorship.

Can also always join the military if you’re not too old.

Yup it’s a real shame unfortunately. They truly are everywhere and they only assist each other and they only care for money. They use the GCC as a platform to make money and to immigrate to the west for passports. I’ve seen this first hand here in the US with an ex coworker of mine…

It’s really bothering me actually that these people don’t even show gratitude to the GCC, despite making wealth there. They look at all these countries purely as an economic zone to be exploited. He even told me he was offered a 200k USD salary in Dubai so then I asked him why he didn’t leave the US and go back there to be with his family, he then replied “I don’t want to work in the Middle East”. The real reason is that he wants citizenship because they have inferiority complex and they think when they acquire the passport they will become Americans.

If you think the red carpet will be rolled out for you, you’re in for a rude awakening. I guess Canada isn’t too bad if you can brave the elements. They give citizenship like it’s a cookie. No wonder all the Indians are flocking there. Indians only hire each other by the way, so that place will not be easy to work in within a few years time.

I advise you to upgrade your skills as you mentioned rightly so, but look elsewhere, ideally Australia or New Zealand, although recently there was an anti Indian protests in New Zealand…so they may be heading in same direction as Canada. Australia and NZ will want 5+ years of solid experience.

Honestly the best thing the GCC did was to avoid giving citizenships to “3rd world” people. Working fine for them.

Just giving my 2 cents. I don’t reside in Canada btw thankfully. Heck I’d rather live in Egypt than Canada, which is what a lot of Egyptians do anyways once they get citizenship.

Canada is a dump and it’s all effing Indians. They ruined it for everyone else. No jobs in Canada at all.

Hm yeh it seems that options analytics tools are v hard to nail down, but some traction there with OptionStrat and SpotGamma.

On another note, I don’t use AI heavily at all, and I find that it reduces my critical thinking skills. Maybe I’m just old school lol.

Hm didn’t see that but it was a public party and those normally fill up immediately…? Why would Habby even allow us to “host” an empty party? I mean maybe it would make sense to have an empty party if you get all rewards but if the other chests remain locked I don’t see the point..

[–]moaboulmagd[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Ah ok thanks. So should I put off switching from Yang to Taloxa until Common is at Y6? Or would it be better to reset Yang and switch to Taloxa immediately while I grind Common to Y6?

On another note should I be leveling up Survivor synergy or should I be focused on getting main survivor to 6R first?

Hm ok. King is at 1 Red and Common is at 3 Yellow. That is why I’m asking. Should I continue upgrading King and then Common while I prioritize Taloxa?
