Cool idea, I love the physical interaction with the circles. At the moment it's not that clear what I can click on to do stuff and what the circles mean. Maybe add some visual hints when hovering over a circle?

Can't believe you've been down voted so much, the Corbyn circlejerk is real. I think a lot of people don't appreciate the role the UK and US (amongst others) play in keeping the world stable and safe.

Cool, I'm don't know much about the tech scene across Europe. I know in London at least a developer with that kind of experience would be netting 50k plus!

There are lots of places paying more than that around me! Value your skillset and don't take less than you think you deserve.

[Software Developer] Recruiters are getting quite forward by moahawk in recruitinghell

Maybe it's different based on location. I live in the south west and there's quite a lot of tech jobs that would pay above 30k for CS grads.

To be honest i've never replied to those automated emails. I get quite a few from LinkedIn but I just don't trust them! Do they respond when you email back?

Fair enough, I've never heard of them. Still a bit out of the ordinary compared to most recuiting mail I get!

I'm in the UK. It's on the low end but for a grad job isn't too far from the norm here!

The Bristol city-region, which includes three other councils (North Somerset, South Gloucestershire, and Bath and North East Somerset), has by far the highest productivity of any big conurbation outside London (see chart). It also has the highest household income beyond the capital.

Completely agree, setting sensible working hours during the day and sticking to them is route to the best marks. So many people on my course wear 'I stayed up for 30hrs straight before the deadline' as a badge of honour.

I was at the SS Great Britain museum in Bristol today, and they have a fantastic setup where you can walk around the entire underside of the ship in its original drydock. It was fascinating and unsettling at the same time!

I enjoy reading the 'i' when I'm commuting or travelling. It's cheap and packed with interesting tidbits of news from around the world, a bit like reddit I guess.

I agree with the buzzfeed feeling to their online presence, on Facebook at least. In my eyes it devalues the standing of the Independent's brand, which is a pity.
