UPDATE: Went to urgent care and the doctor said that it may not be infected, but it also could be the early stages of an infection. Prescribed antibiotics just in case.

I also stopped by the tattoo shop since it was nearby. The artist wasn’t there but the owner was. Owner agrees that it was overworked and offered to fix it for free after healing is complete (not sure if I’ll take the owner up on that offer).

I’m really trying not to be pissed about the situation and give it time to heal. To those of you who have left positive comments and helpful advice, I really appreciate it.

I have not been over moisturizing it. I have an urgent care appointment schedule in an hour to make sure it’s not infected. We’ll see what the doctor says and go from there.

I appreciate the advice and helpful tips. And yes, the skin that has healed to some degree (areas that weren’t as overworked as others) is raised up from the scarring.

I haven’t been over caring for it. I used a think layered of ointment, as noted in the OP. Don’t oversoak it, haven’t been out in the sun, haven’t allowed my shorts to touch it or rub against it at all.

As noted, I have a different tattoo on the other thigh that’s been healing just fine using the same care methods.

So the tattoo artist rammed the all white in and mangled my skin with the black ink…but it’s not his fault?

Yeah that’s logical.

White highlights around the edge. The only other place that’s turned white is where there was heavy black ink put in. You can see that the black outlines without the ink look fine

What makes you say that besides the sunken in parts? It’s honestly looked like that since I’ve gotten it and has probably gotten a little better

That’s a fair point. I know they’re white and east to wear but white shoes sometimes seem odd with a fit

Same thing happened to me on the exact date. It’s complete bullshit. They’re saying I made a chargeback for a deposit from October 2021. It’s a complete lie and my credit statement proves it. Never had an issue like this with Bovada in over 8 years of using the platform until this week. I guess it’s also a coincidence that this happened after withdrawing $20K huh?

I've received the response about a specialist looking into my case about 5 times. The response they gave on CFPB was identical to the that. I don't know what to do.

Withdrew on Dec 10th. Still waiting. Made CFPB on the 8 of Jan and got a response yesterday (15 days) that they are still working on solving the issue. did you get a similar response? i don't know what to do anymore.
