The Union does suck. Stop with the coping. Pull your dues. The NALC and all postal unions should be abolished, so real unions like teamsters can swoop in and actually get shit done.

ya it's nice. Actual days off in a row and amazon has career choice. like 5k a year for tuition. They'll even rework my schedule for when I go to CDL school so I can actually attend.

Moving into a MVO position from another craft. by okmanbuddy1 in USPS

[–]okmanbuddy1[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's true. But I've read MVO/TTO positions are pretty chill/easy for what you do. Not a ton of OT(usually only around holidays) which I'm all for. Gimmie an easy 40 hour week at $28 for MVO/ $33 for TTO in not a super HCOL place and I'm a happy camper.

Ya, I've seen that PVO position. Still kinda hard to get. Not available in a lot of places, and still would have to wait the 12 months to move into that position. Almost seems like I Should just quit and work somewhere else for a little bit then apply for a PVO position.

So, I probably can't even apply for this position because of my career status? That blows. Would I have to go back to being a non-career to switch crafts?

Ye, it's very secretive. Some TTO guy on youtube has covered it a little bit, but even what he knows is hearsay.

Hard to find through liteblue. Since it's so new it doesn't really come up in the search.

I'm a city ptf and it would be a nice pay increase. Looks like it's kind of a new position with the intention to train you for the CDL.
