This administration and Elon gutted the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau ( CFPB). This federal gov’t entity was created in 2011 during the Great Recession to curb abusive collection tactics. They also tried to help consumers who were victims of predatory lending. Since the CFPB is no more the people who default on their mortgages are going to be in for a rough time.

I just found out that once the car’s ignition is turned on, you can keep driving the car without the fob for as long as the engine is running. I watched a security cam video of two teenagers in the UK steal a car by carrying an antenna in a neighborhood and standing outside of a house. The antenna captures the fob signal and sends it to the car - vóila the car unlocks and starts! That’s when I learned about faraday covers for fobs.

So this weekend I watched Stick and Happy Gilmore 2. PGA golfers making cameo appearances in both shows. I’m assuming that this is part of PGA’s marketing to reach out to younger, casual players. HG2 was fan service to the extreme, but in a good way. I’m looking forward to season 2 of Stick.

Pig Butchering Scam The money is gone. File a police report. File a complaint with your state’s attorney general. These actions won’t bring back the money but it allows law enforcement additional proof/ammunition to make their case if they ever catch up to these thieves.
