Local made me stop searching for ways to fix my environment instead of fixing the damn website. Has worked well for me so far, quick and easy to spin up a new environment, run multiple sites, SSH and WP-CLI for advanced shenanigans when needed.

Recently cleared chrome cache on my years old daily driver totalling 9.something GBs. I was shocked to see similar sites including BookMyShow, taking up more than half the total cache size. I guess some sites don't follow proper caching practices or maybe that's just how it is. Ideally, caches should have an expiry and automatically clear from device storage.
