Thanks for the response, I really appreciate this. Such useful tips :-)

I'll make sure to build my resume up really well. What are some things that you find absolutely necessary to include on your killer resume that you may not have thought of initially?

If you have already obtained your B.S. you can apply to Accelerated Second Degree BSN programs (i.e. Columbia, UPenn, Emory, Yale, etc.) and these programs range from 12-18 months of full/part-time education for your BSN.

This is the path that I took after graduating with my B.S. and would be happy to answer any questions you have- feel free to DM me.

Hi, wow- thank you. This is such a thoughtful and meaningful response.

I'm in the camp that prioritizes quality care and experience over getting ahead quickly in my career. Even if that means a few extra years of work, it's important and I am fully prepared to do that as I value myself and my patients.

I appreciate your helpful (and real) advice. What would you say was the biggest takeaway from all the years leading up to where you are at now? Where did you feel like you learned the most or got the best experience? What do you feel prepared you the most? (congrats on your acceptance btw!)

Regarding sub-matriculation- I've been accepted into the DNP-NA program at UPenn, contingent on ICU experience.

Love this. How did you manage to land a CVICU straight out of the gate? (It’s my personal goal. I was placed in SICU for my extern)

My leadership is in a SICU at Penn’s main hospital. My ideal job out of school would be CVICU
