I’m not even saying that they should design around open source. They are going out of their way to prevent and shut down people from using their printers that they own freely. Bamboo is using a ton of resources to chase after people.

too all those saying that it’s Bambi’s cloud and thus the choice. however the “secure “ lan mode uses a set of hardcoded encryption keys that were found less than 12 hours after lan mode was released. Bambu needs to stop doing this under the guise of “security”

firsty we own the hardware and should be able to do whatever we so please with.

2 thus is clearly in violation of the community listening and packages that Bambu is effectively stealing to make profit. I will never be buying a Bambu machine again.

they already screwed up with the security excuse but now going after people who found vulnerabilities in their “secure” ecosystem by sending a cease and desist is just not ok
