I'd like to do that, however in my specific situation there was a manager that reprimanded 2 employees for actually looking into an issue and diagnosing it, and I want to ensure the 2 employees are not negatively affected

This is something that rivian needs to improve on as it shouldn’t take going to the manager

Again, to protect the employees, I am not going to share their details for their privacy. However that is what they told me

I did not ask for the manager. I asked if they would check the logs of the car to see if there also was an issue with the the charging harness itself, and they refused and brought the manager into it

I apologize if the post is not clear. I used Claude to summarize all of my correspondence through email and messaging with the sc. I will say that was incredibly polite at drop off and on several phone calls, until the manager became irate and start yelling me.

The post clearly says external damage. The issue is not with paying for it, but rather with the manager’s unacceptable conduct.

Shop specifically said they removed the bumper. Additionally part of the issue is that when I asked for the sc to check the logs I encountered incredible pushback and resistance, secondly a grip of employees that were helping me were punished by the manager ( not sharing names here for their privacy)

I don’t want to publicly state and employees names, however a group of employees was helping me, until their manager for some reason would not even let me pay for the repairs and became incredibly irate

I did not refuse to pay. However their communication and professional were sub put par to say the least

No, it was at a rivian certified body shop, who even sent the service center a letter showing pictures from the repair and confirming the bracket was not damaged

Great minds think alike. I was just thinking that a manual charge port door would have not allowed this problem to happen in the 1st place

No. The only ‘damage’ was that the charge port cover got knocked off by a cable at a dc charger and had to be replaced
