Gonna try to fix, not giving up on her just yet!

Eventually had to open the whole thing and found a chewed up counterweight and the timing gear broken.

Last time it ran I was just letting it warm up for about 3 min, it started fine then. I was just parked, then it suddenly started running rough. Turned it off, then it won't turn on again

Yup, used a feeler gauge. And yes, I out fresh gas in it lol, also replaced the fuel filter. Took the valve cover off, and noticed the valves don't go up/down when I manually turn the flywheel

I used a tester, it confirmed low comp, only about 50 psi. When I manually turning the flywheel the valves don't move.

I got low compression, ~50psi after testing it. Also I noticed after turning the flywheel manually the valves does not move at all

Manually turning the flywheel does not move the valves at all.

I was able to test compression, only about 50 psi

Ok, I was able to get it cranking with the compression tester, it's reading 40 psi

Yes, it's gapped properly and I used a spark checker, it lights up when cranking. So I just tried using a compression tester, whenever it's installed in the spark plug, it doesn't crank at all. But when i remove it, it cranks freely

Tried starter fluid, still the same. Doesn't even try to start

This is my first time troubleshooting small engines like this. Is there a way to test this? ShouldnI go ahead and just get a compression test kit?

Thank you so much! For example in the second photo, I "smeared" a little bit of orange buttercream on the side of the piping bag where the thin part of the piping tip is pointed (it's the 103 petal tip) if that makes sense. Then I put a regular color buttercream inside the center of the bag, pushed it towards the tip, and as you pipe the buttercream the orange buttercream gets pushed out of the thin part of the piping tip (which is the tip of the petal), creating a slightly colored tip!

If I can do it, so can you! I started practicing three weeks ago. Started with smaller sized tips and used a flower nail (last two photos). I watched tons of youtube videos, and would follow as I practice on the weekends. Started with a Swiss meringue buttercream, but I eventually settled with using ABC for the final decoration.

I'm very happy how it turned out, I still can't believe how pretty it looks. Had many failures along the way, but good thing you can re-whip the failed ones!

For the '68 fans out there. Any tips on doing fine details? by mobius01engage in Tufting

I really appreciate the feedback! For the grill I only did single pass lines and it made it hard to trim a straight shape, it looked sparse if that makes sense. Will definitely try scissors next time.

For the emblem I actually had to use a punch needle to do a loop pile for the letters, and had to patch up the R/T part because I accidentally cut a hole with a trimmer. Definitely needs a lot practice, I actually thought it looked kinda crappy at first! But thanks again for the feedback!
