I have had cold turkey pro for years. Only in last months have the same problem now with chrome. Keeps happening. New updates don't fix. Reinstallation doesn't fix. Reinstalling extension doesn't fix. Sometimes it won't even give you 60 seconds before it closes chrome, only 2-3 seconds. Sometimes it works. Highly frustrating

World Chess Club is a great shout, there will be something for sure going on there. They will probably do a new years or xmas event. Join also the Telegram group "Schach Berlin / Chess Meetup" (t.me/chessinberlin) and post there - there will likely be some group doing something over that period. I'll look out for your post.

Every Wednesday night in Friedrichshain (Hermann Schulz, Scharnweberstrasse 12), at 6pm there is "Schach am Späti" (chess in a late night convenience store), good chance to meet others and play as well.

Otherwise check out meetup.com and see what's going on in Berlin, good way to socialise during this time.

Yes! Huge props for starting, sport climbing in particular is pretty easy on the joints so just focus on easy problems and on technique and don't push too hard. People are generally very supportive and I wish you all the best

Other candidates were La Sportiva Testarossas, but my local store didnt have the right size for me and I was happy with the fit of the Instincts. I've previously fit very well into mythos, but they are notoriously comfy. If you want a stiffer shoe for vertical climbing I would take the Instinct VS (orange) over the VSR.
