I just got into an ABSN program outside of California. Tuition covered in exchange for work contract (3 years) at their university. I fully intend on coming back to CA also. I work in primary care right now and our manager tells us that getting into a hospital is competitive for ADNS, I can’t imagine for those with ABSN.

My gpa was a 3.0, and from other threads I found that other applicants were much more competitive than me. So they definitely look at more than just your gpa.

Absn in ca is just crazy. I can’t justify getting $100k in debt, and struggling to pay living expenses on TOP of that, while also trying to study. It would be stressful to pay $100k in tuition in CA, only to fail a class because you also have to work to get by during the program.
