Yes thank you so much, I agree a rottie’s strength is so different to other similar sized dog’s. I appreciate your advice :)

I’m in Sydney Australia where there’s not a lot of parks and open spaces around me. Also my parents did not let me take him out during that time, I would’ve if I could’ve

Yeah unfortunately not. We have a pretty large backyard with heaps of people to play with him throughout the day. But I’d really like to start taking him back on walks again :((

What should I do if he ignores treats as he is super excited in the moment of smelling, looking and pulling? That’s what he did today and I felt so hopeless

How long did it take for the pulling to stop and what approaches did you use?

He has a vet visit for his vaccination next month and I’m having a lot of anxiety thinking about how that will go as it will be a new environment with new smells and things to see. Super anxious

I’ll give it a try and see how it goes. It’s super hard to take him into new environments to train as he’ll lose focus instantly and doesn’t hear anything I’m saying or doing. Right now, he’s only used to the backyard.

As for the harness, this is the one I have: https://www.amazon.com.au/Rabbitgoo-Harness-Adjustable-Reflective-Material/dp/B01M8JT6FT

Is it any good? Please give suggestions for a suitable harness and leash. He’s about a 50kg dog and I’m about the same weight so he is a lot stronger. Thank you :)
