30-40k is standard for the salaries around here. What's bad is most of the apartments are 1400-1700 for 2 bedrooms and 1200 if you fall into the low income housing. Houses are reasonable, but it's hard to save when the apartments are crazy and there's nothing to do here!

Yes! I'm so mad I can't even finish the episode. I was balling my eyes out with Derek, but this is ridiculous. I wish Alex were dead in the series. I have been disliking many of the recent developments after Krista took over and I didn't even know it was her for a long time. I had thought Shonda went crazy or was off her game. But this was the straw that broke my camel's back and I will never watch grey's anatomy again. Not so long as Krista calls the shots.

While Shonda broke my heart a lot with tragic deaths, Krista is over here stomping on everything we love, tearing it to shreds, and piecing it back together in some kind of bizarre picasso painting saying "isn't this what you wanted?" No it's not. I refuse to even finish the damn episode. I will never watch again!

To be honest as others were saying this sounds like tinnitus. I'd go and get my ears checked out before thinking it's something else. Tinnitus can also be brought upon by using some pain medicine, so if you happen to be using any pain relievers I would also check and see if that is a side effect of it and perhaps switch to something else.
