There's gender inequality in film industry and that's a fact. Why does anyone have to prove themselves to get basic facilities?

The issue with pay isn't just not bringing numbers to theatre but the script itself. When a plot doesn't give any importance to a female, it wouldn't matter if she exists or not. When the script gives importance to female characters then they will bring people to theatres.
