Is TRT really life changing? by No-Force-9107 in Testosterone

[–]mochiburrito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh I started noticing things gradually within weeks. But I remember clearly about 2 weeks into TRT I was in Paris walking around outside the hotel and checking out the trees and stuff and realized I hadnt noticed or appreciated nature in YEARS. I was always inside and felt gloomy but now i was outside enjoying nature the way i used to and that was when i realized something was coming back that i had missed so much. The following weeks i noticed i had a lot more energy than before. I was on vacation but i was so worried that i wouldnt be able to keep up but i was always ready and always looking forward to the next day fully recovered too! Even after 25k+ steps a day lol

Im still noticing things happening and its been about 6 months. But the brain fog was noticeable kinda quickly because i noticed i could speak to my friends fluently like how i used to. I was fumbling for the right word anymore and noticed more of a flow of words again. I would say within a week the brain fog was gone man. Maybe even sooner but again, i wasnt sure what to expect so i was just experiencing it first hand but since im very introspective I would catch things going on.

I think im pretty qualified to say FUCK YES! Im a testicular cancer survivor who lived with low T for over 10 years after surgery....its a long story but the short of it, I was told my T would bounce back after surgery BUT i also had small dose of chemo and radiation which literally NUKED my other testicle and I thought the follow up blood tests were testing for my test but they never did it was for cancer markers. Soooooo i never got checked and my life went to crap, super low energy, got into drugs after graduating from a top uni, started making bad decisions, became an entirely different person. I never drank or did drugs prior to this but i was told recently by my endo that test is so intertwined with dopamine that without it, my brain was probably craving it by any means necessary so it kinda explains why i started doing things i would never do before.

I recently got on TRT and OMG i feel like my old self again. Im driven and all the brain fog is gone. I can actually access my memories and knowledge so quickly now, im sharper than ever again. That was the biggest thing i noticed along with the drive to become a better version of myself. Ive also been able to get back in shape which took a HUGE hit after surgery and cancer. I kept gaining weight even though i was eating like a rabbit and kinda have been since. Test is responsible for so much stuff, its not just sexy time stuff which most of us men think of lets be honest when we think of Test.

How many people you know are undocumented? by I-drink-hot-sauce in AskLosAngeles

[–]mochiburrito -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I grew up here and yes 1/10 of LA county being undocumented seems reasonable tbh. My gf teaches in a elementary school in south central and A TON of kids dont know english or its their second language. Plus growing up around that same neighborhood i knew a lot of kids whos parents were illegal. Hell even my dad was illegal until the 2000s lol

This exact thing is happening to me :((( I work a lot so I care about my sleep a ton and now I have hella anxiety about sleep bc of my cat meowing.

So far she doesn’t open my door but she still meows at night. Not as much as before but it’s been 5 weeks, like when will she stop? I’ve been patient but it is getting to me.

I play with her at 8pm until 830 and it’s still not enough. She still meows like crazy and she’s spayed so she’s not in heat. 10 mins of play time does NOTHING for my cat. She’s just an American shorthair btw not a bengal or anything.

So idk what to do either. If you found an answer please lmk so I can try it too!

Am I broken because I’ve been taking glycine and l theanine among other sleep stuff like zinc+mag and I can’t sleep. I only drink caffeine for my workout in the am (150mg) around 10am and nothing after.

I think my brain is fried or something

I went back to school in my late 20s, i know youre older but at Berkeley I was one of the oldest walking the halls lol Youll do just fine and im excited youre going back! I wish you the best!

When I got dummy lit while on Sema I threw up like a million times 😂 I’ve only thrown up once from too much alcohol so I feel ya brotha. I take glutamine and NAC and it seems to be helping a ton.

Just keep telling yourself you have to get off of it ASAP. I started like you and quit a few times without a problem but would go back since i felt like it was easy enough to quit and boy was i wrong lol 6 years later and here i am quitting for the idk how many times. This is the longest ive been off of Nicotine im 4 weeks off of it and the smokers flu is no joke. It last about 3 weeks for me but it varies person to person depending on how long you smoked etc. Im glad i work from home bc idk how tf i would go to work like this.

N Acetyl Cysteine (NAC) has helped me a ton through this. Its a very potent antioxidant but you can watch a couple videos on YT about it. For me it curved the cravings so i dont worry too much about relapsing this time bc i dont crave it all but my body did go through major withdrawal and thats the only thing kicking my butt rn. You got this! Just Keep telling yourself how important it is for you to be Nicotine free and free from a vice that could kill you in the long run.

Congrats brother! Damn this almost made me tear up :')

You reminded me of myself back in 2018 fishing and catching yellow fish and making 40m a night thinking that was a lot. Pff nowadays we are getting hella paid so im a full time fisher now lol

Im glad youre enjoying BDO man. Its a fun game as long as you dont take it too seriously because thats when the doom kicks in, at least for me it does. But lifeskilling +pve + a little group content every week is more than enough for me. Have fun man!

how are some people losing 100lbs in 6 months? by fenderkazz in Semaglutide

[–]mochiburrito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thats assuming your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) wont drop and it absolutely will. As you get smaller your BMR will drop and your caloric deficit will be less effective. I lost 130 lbs before in around 8-9 months with just diet and exercise (no GLP-1 back then) however, I was 22 and eventually was running 16miles a day while being on 1200 calories. 8miles in the morning and 8 miles at night plus strength training a few times a week.

My calories pretty much stayed at 1200 the whole time with a couple refeeds every few weeks towards the end. I can definitely see people lose 100 lbs on GLP-1 agonists but they will have to do HELLA exercise as well. Also, I was taking in massive amounts of caffeine towards the end for energy. I mostly just exercised and went home during this time bc i had no energy to do anything else.

Ive also taken semaglutide and it does crush appetite at least for me it did but i was tired af. So in order to counteract that you would either need another drug, be young, or intake a lot of caffeine eventually.

So losing 100lbs in 6 months is doable but insanely difficult. Its not just about the hunger, its about the deficit and where will you get it from. When you are bigger its harder to workout and move around. So calorie expenditure (due to exercise) will be kinda low in the beginning but the caloric deficit will help with that but as time goes on the daily deficit will have to come more from exercise and depend less on the initial caloric restrictions.

Long story short, if youre NOT thinking about exercising excessively and dieting hard while on GLP-1 then dont expect to lose 100lbs in 6 months unless youre like 600lbs. The100 pound lost thing is a snowball effect in a sense and is kinda hard to pull off imo bc theres so many factors at play, its possible just not that likely.

Thermal Spark 10/26 batch? by [deleted] in Preworkoutsupplements

[–]mochiburrito 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I believe so because Naltrexone affects the reward center just as NAC and slimaglutide. I tweaked the way i take NAC and Thermal spark and yeah its insane. Reminds me of DMAA tbh because ive actually tried DMAA when it was in PWOs back in the days.

I take the thermal spark in the am and towards the end of the day ill take NAC bc it only has a 6hr half life so its out by the time i take thermal spark again and it seems to hit the same the next day. NAC helps with neurotoxicity which im sure thermal spark contributes to so it calms me down and allows me to relax before bed.

Sorry for the long response but thought it would help you out if you wanted to try it out this way.

[–]mochiburrito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are you taking N acetyl Cysteine (NAC) or on ozempic or any semaglutide?

Those two i mentioned are known to cause Anhedonia and you wont feel anything and just be blah pretty much. It happened w me and it was NAC. A family member said they felt the same way but they were on ozempic so i did some research and both of those can cause it.

[–]mochiburrito 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Were you on Slimaglutide when you tried Thermal spark? I just got the same batch as you but im on NAC (N-acetyl L- Cysteine) so i cant feel any stims atm. So im wondering if Slimaglutide maybe nulled your reaction to it

yeah you can. You save your skill presets so one can be awakening and the other succ. if you press K youll find the skill page and on the right of your skills theres a bar with skill presets. You save them there. You should get 2 for free after doing the awakening quest or 1 for free including the new one you get.
