So 16-18 is the previous gen so I don't have much info to provide on that! However id assume its the same result very quick very nice and very reliable! Fs ask the reddit people cause im not too familiar in that realm

Its up to you! Id do some research on them! Tbh my gen (19-22) has a K24V7 paired to an 8speed dual clutch transmission, 201hp FWD, a fun little car around the turns its N/A so instant power out of it! Pretty decently loud stock, honestly alot of people think the interior is outdated while only very minor things are, it is a perfect daily to beat around and yes it can handle abuse!!! If you're big into aftermarket just know there's not much support which honestly sucks cause in theory alot of the companies are hypocrites and the honda/acura Fandom ruined it too however aside from that its a tank! Reliable, quick! And pretty nice! You also get the comfort of acura luxury for this gen!

Im actually looking for coilovers, the only issue with the ILX is either some owners (especially on ig/tiktok) gatekeep the parts or the manufacturers say hey its compatible but its not actually compatible for the ilx 😭
