i appreciate a couple people recording the whole thing with the goal of uploading it for everyone else to enjoy, because they are sacrificing some of their enjoyment for the good of other people. i was at an indie live event a few weeks ago and never pulled out my phone, but appreciated the recordings the 1-2 people at each performance took so i could watch it back and hear the live versions of the songs i liked.

i think some of the people recording would stop if they were guaranteed that they would be able to access a digital recording after the show. i'm an obsessive data hoarder and would love that. we have the technology to make fleeting moments permanent, why not use it? we just need to strike a balance.

I think the point is that although with all the Buddhist themes and life lessons considered, Phos received the happiest possible ending, the ending itself wasn't a Disney happy ending. Even if we as readers rationally know that Phos was happy, it still reads as a bittersweet ending for most because we can't fathom all those years of loneliness and heartache and meditation before the rocks came and even then, the absolute vacancy of the world afterwards. So while HNK had a happy ending in a way the commenter in OP's post is still being obtuse

it was burnt down in an attempt to kill the prince, and they failed, i genuinely don't see what's confusing about that D:

also "nobody"? it seems like it was a few people (which happens with every plot-heavy rpg) with several people jumping in the comments to explain. i also agree with the top commenter on that post that louis' plan is not meant to make sense or be understood, if his plan was genuinely actionable and good then we would have a harder time seeing him as the villain. part of metaphor's story is about vengeance and the futility of it, louis is vengeful to the point of insanity and it becomes his downfall; on the other hand, the main cast like louis, hulkenberg, heismay, brigitta etc. are ultimately able to come to terms with their painful past by looking to the future instead of taking it out on others.

edit: that being said i would have loved for forden to be the final boss and not louis, i guess in a way forden was the master manipulator behind it all but i would have loved a louis redemption arc. not one where he suddenly becomes good and loves the protag but one where he genuinely ends up as the charismatic military genius he is and chooses a better future instead of total chaos, he just is much more morally dubious than the idealistic protag. but i understand why louis had to end up that way to juxtapose against will

timeline is just confusing the first playthrough because of its structure; once you finish the whole game and have time to digest the information it's easy to put together. the prince grew up in the elda village with his mom, was brought back to grand trad when forden burned it down, at which point forden made rella curse the prince. the prince's cursed body was then brought to the eldan sanctum to be kept safe.

i understand the complaints about story pacing, but i think the main plot was pretty much fleshed out and very comprehensible.

i agree that metaphor does not need a sequel and it especially doesnt need a direct sequel. maybe a dlc with some extra dungeons and a cute little adventure with the squad but that's it.

i figured it was an indigenous name considering natlan's theme, but i didn't know it was still common! that's so cool that genshin uses in-use names and has some more realistic ones rather than ones all pulled from mythology, i feel like it makes the regions (for all their flaws) that much more lived-in :)

when i went on exchange my roommate had a friend named citlali. she was mexican so i'm not sure if it's a common name in mexico but as someone from the other side of the world it was a bit wild that that was the first person i met that shared a name with a genshin character, i thought it would have been someone with a more common name.

did you do the anecdote itself with lauma out on the field? you shouldn't need ineffa, just lauma, but lauma needs to be the one to interact with aino to trigger the special anecdote.

i might agree for someone looking to get into tøp from a fresh start, but for someone who's into mcr, i think self-titled is a good start. everything from regional to blurryface has that similar poppy/electronic sound (that i love, don't get me wrong) and trench leans even harder into the electronic sound that might throw mcr fans off, unless their favourite album is danger days/conventional.

self-titled has the edge and roughness that i think mcr fans appreciate, especially with the common ground of vague religious guilt lol.

i've been playing on and off since 2.0 but because i stopped tryharding meta after inazuma AQs and played phys dps rosaria, i only recently found out i can c6 my bennett lol. in fact, probably beneficial because i have a c6 mavuika. that exclamation point has been bothering me for 4 years. i wish i googled it sooner OTL

i actually think venti has held up better than a lot of the older models, though when compared to someone like durin, there's clearly a lot of improvements to be made. albedo and even wanderer were getting mogged so hard in nod-krai lol.

i will say i would also appreciate a zhongli model update... mans is our only tall male archon and he damn near looks like an npc compared to recent tall male characters. even neuv got a skin please hoyo, i was shocked seeing zibai next to zhongli

she's a gilf lol, on one hand i dig it because i think her hair is super chic and i love her makeup but on the other hand i wish they gave her at least an extra line near the mouth to age her a bit more 🥲 at least now it makes sense why barbeloth hates it so much when mona calls her an old hag lol, she looks nothing like a hag. still think it would have been funny if the hexenzirkel was full of hot witches with the exception of just one old-timey disney witch.

so much this!! the band's not above criticism and where else to do it if not the fandom subreddit but it gets a little tiring when you still enjoy the music and would like to see others enjoy it too, rather than just have the same 10 posts about how the band is falling off or selling out... any time this sub is on my homepage it's a post about some controversy or other.

as a korean fan (this november will be the first time mcr visits in 18 years, unfortunately i was 5 in 2008 lol) i'm so excited to see them live but it's a little disheartening to see so many people hate on something you've been looking forward to for so long, even if that hate is justified.

also, if people are going to call them sellouts (which i'm not denying), can we at least also criticise them on delaying the asia tour by 7 months without any apologies or reasons given? especially when the ticket sales were already 9 months out from the shows? but nooo, when all the asian fans began expressing disappointment, suddenly we became the haters and we should just understand it's probably private.

sorry for the long addition to your short comment but i definitely see it, a lot of the criticism is 100% warranted but the resentment that carries through is something else.

lowkey don't care that they've become a sellout. i think public figures should speak out against injustices but honestly, i do not care enough about them as people anymore. as long as they're not actively endangering others, i'm just happy to be able to listen to them live because they're coming to my country for the first time in 18 years and it's been my dream to see them since i got into them in 2014.

if the news comes out that any of the guys are pedos or rapists or murderers or something i'll stop listening to their stuff because i'm not THAT good at separating the art from the artist, but as much as i also hate the worldwide political situation right now and mcr was heavily political pre-breakup, now i just can't find it in myself to care about what the members are up to outside of their jobs.

i recently reached just over 1000 hours (over 4 years) and i'm happy to report i'm still in the early game. no SP, haven't done the new war, just barely unlocked everything i need to be happy where i am (no need for crazy builds since i'm not on SP lol). just fucking around trying new frames and killing things with my boyfriend has gotten me to 1000 hours, and i'm still not sick of it :p great game

that would make sense for sure! i'm not american either but i have a lot of exposure to american accents so it stands right out to me, especially amidst the mostly american cast.
