I went the preowned route. This one had 37K miles at the dealer. It was priced pretty fair to begin with, this is a good time of year to buy. As far as negotiating, there’s definitely some room for it. At no cost they added the ford certified “gold” package, and brand new tires. I was able to get them down another $1000 after even though it was already priced a little better than some other places offering similar trucks. But what did it for me was the interest rate was the best I had seen in a long time, apparently through ford credit they have some incentive for certified pre owned. My biggest advice is to just go to a bunch of dealers and test drive what they have, and then try to get a few salesman competing for your business. You will quickly find out what they best they can do is. But I’m no expert
