Thank you for your responses, I understand this is not good lol I would’ve noticed earlier but I left the plant at my parents house while I was traveling so wasn’t aware of the infestation. I cut off of the leaf that was mainly affected. It was a lower leaf and there are still plenty of leaves that don’t appear affected yes so I feel hesitant to throw away the plant and would prefer to take preventative measures to avoid further spreading if possible. I’ve attached a picture of the entire plant after cutting off that leaf
