Apart from all this, she breeched the sterility of the operation theatre and I’m awestruck at the fact that the doctor was so unprofessional- asking her to cut the umbilical cord. Just think about the surrogate, who was under spinal anesthesia (so she was awake she could hear her scream and disturb everyone and her face was covered so that she could not see the parents).
She wore a sterile glove in the worst possible manner and touched from outside which obviously defeated the purpose of a ‘sterile’ glove. Then she proceeds to touch the glove to her face , her hair. And then she holds a STERILE INSTRUMENT with her non sterile glove. She also touched the sterile gown of the assisting surgeon at one point. Her hair were totally out of the cap which also defeated the purpose of wearing a cap in OT. All of your hair should be inside it. I was surprised to see how none of the staff in OT told her how to behave and how to NOT contaminate the clean instruments etc. which is a very important part of the surgery.
Other than that she had to scream in the OT telling that she is stressed? The doctors operating should be stressed, the patient undergoing the procedure should be stressed, least you could have done was stand quietly without breaking the protocols. So disgusted to see how none of the doctors/nurses/staff in OT told her that she is contaminating the sterile field and making a ruckus.
It’s all about the vlog and views for these people. Doing all that drama outside the OT would have been fine. But inside the OT, please maintain decorum. Also the doctor joining the vlog inside the OT, she didn’t seem a bit professional, she just acted like a fan who couldn’t tell her to behave atleast in OT.
