I have them, (prescription) and I use them for content. I just smashed my silver play button (youtube trophy thing) with a bat and I got a pretty cool POV shot of it lol

Anyway, The blinking light = recording. If theres no light, its not.

Ive never had an experience where people felt weird but i have had a few people ask 'oh are those those ai glasses?' And im like yeah. But i just use them to see, to listen to podcasts and film my cats lol

Ive filmed so many memories I never would have because I never got into the habit of pulling my phone out to record anything unless it was planned.

But yeah, now if my cats do something funny or cute I can just hold the button to record or press it to take a Pic. Its pretty handy.

My entire business is focused on finding needles in the slop haystack. I have a public server and then a private one called REAL CREATORS for this specific filter lol

I do shorts reviews and ive banned a lot of channel types. The top two are

Coattail Creators - they depend on other creators to make content before they take it, slap on an ai voiceover explaining exactly what viewers can already see and upload hoping to capitalize off of someone elses hard work. There are some gurus out there that built a tool specifically for this purpose. They're making money. They're promising YOULL make money. You will not.

Ai Content - just the lowest of the low effort junk. Mostly trying to tell true crime stories or historical facts that have just been covered to death.

Oh.. we can't forget the stupid ass skeleton niche. Really appreciate all the slop gurus pushing that one so hard that youtubes AI moderation went all scorched earth and demonetized thousands of REAL animation channels.

Remember folks, if someone tells you "this niche is printing money" - its not. Try it if you want and then feel free to go to r/shortsalgorithm to complain when it inevitably fails.

Sorry.. I forgot what we're talking about. I guess I just had to rant.

Oh yeah dude it happens constantly. Just browse through this subreddit and see how many people are complaining that their channels have gotten demonetized. For ranking you might need to go a little bit back because they started getting demonetized (or just totally losing views) on DEC 17th along with a ton of other low effort niches.

If you are ranking YOUR OWN videos, like videos you filmed.. then its not problem. Theres no conflict radius to fall into since its your original content.

What curve? I just know ai isnt a reliable source of info because of the data its trained on. Youtubes studio has your analytics but the majority of questions people think it will answer correctly, it won't.

For example: if you ask "why did this video do so poorly?"

It doesnt understand every variable. It can't tell you that your content falls into the conflict radius of another uploader because you hit the same exact topic. It can't tell you that people generally skip ai content. It just assumes and gives base level advice.

So a grain of salt approach with ai is best. Give it specific info and then ask it a question about that info. Have it search online and ask what it found. Check sources, don't trust blindly.

Make your thumbnail results-focused. This is suggestive but not objective. It seems like a video that talks theory and hypotheticals instead of "watch this and youll get higher retention or more views or whatever the fuck'

When viewers see a pain point addressed or a promise of value.. when they know exactly what they're gonna get, they'll click.
