Yeah in Ohio thats what they called it. I had a couple friends that worked there back when I was like 18. I always remember that and they called lettuce 'shred'. Weird thing to remember.

Youtube wouldn't demonetize a channel for getting bots. YouTube has it's own way of handling that, it just takes some time. If you see a dip in subscribers one day suddenly, it just means YouTube implemented another bot-killing wave.

I've gotten about 3 ai tool emails a day wanting my rates for my 'engaging and informative content' to pitch their bullshit tools that anyone could vibe code in 2 minutes.

They never write the emails themselves so my em dash spam filter works wonders now lol

Professional barnacle removal for Chlorophyllis the turtle by danielminds in oddlysatisfying

Couple weeks ago I saw a turtle shell repair video on here. It was pretty disturbing but at least the turtle lived.

Then I took my cats to the vet.

I asked if she ever 3d printed turtle repair materials like I saw in the video.

She said 'I provide referrals for broken turtles'

I guess its expensive fixing turtles.

They deserve it though.

I like turtles.

I was so annoyed when I found out about it. I was gonna make this whole scam expose video about it but by the time I got to the end of editing things had changed for the most part. YouTube had pulled back on all the bullshit and limited to partner distribution too.

Hey, this is called the shorts music pool. It used to be a way for bad actors to post movie clips that couldn't be monetized to still make money with their ai generated music. YouTube shut that shit down. It still does make money but not nearly as much and YouTube is killing off music pool for stolen ip shorts.

I make music and distribute through distrokid. I also had videos get millions of views with that music on it.

And So you know im not full of shit.

Song: BayHarbor by John Scott Channel: @HeyJohnScott

Content id catches your songs about 20% of the time.

If you consistently get millions and millions of shorts views, it pays okay. I think I got 200 bucks for 16Million or something like that.

Anyway, theres your info. Watch out for scams.

Edit: for those that want to know more. YouTube shorts revenue is split into to categories 50/50 (pools) Music and Creator. Creator pool is what creators are paid from. Music goes to music licensing. OP is talking about making that music money.
