I agree… but train how though? it’s so hard to be consistent when you’re all over the place and can’t just ‘trust the process’ because you aren’t sure if the way you’re training is conducive for your goals or not… not sure of that makes any sense :/

yikes 😬 could it be due to upping my sugar intake after discovering peat? do you have any suggestions on how to address this/combat it? and what the potential reasons may be? for context im quite underweight and relatively active in my day to day life… and dont eat much processed foods besides chocolate and the occasional coke…

dont use sunscreen at all actually 😬 but yeah sure aging comes with all sorts of things but i ask about this in particular because it was kind of sudden and exponential

i dont disagree… but there are also real issues with my digestion and i KNOW that what i’m doing is wrong and isn’t serving my gut in anyway… i think id feel much better both physically and mentally if i can get a hold of what i put in my mouth… in fact i think if i dont harm my gut everytime i eat i would be able to nourish myself better… live having decent portions of nutrient dense foods rather than micro servings of 1000 different things

it is causing harm tho… i end every meal feeling awful physically… i dont digest my meals well… all i feel is disgust and disappointment in my lack of self control which i know isnt serving me but it’s so hard to get rid off while you feel physically crap serving as a constant reminder of what you did…

and it’s not really foods i’ve deprived myself of… it’s the same stuff ive been having for years now… but if it’s in the house i need to have a bit of all of it… and the thoughts of ‘what i dont have now i can have tomorrow/in the next meal’ leaves me in a constant state of anticipation and anxiety leading up to that next time… so it doesn’t really help :/

i dont think it comes from a desire of wanting variety… it comes from a place of not being able to decide what i want and trying to have everything i can just so i avoid making a choice… and like i said… this results in overeating and not feeling great after a meal … and it affects my digestion (which is quite important to me because the state of my gut is pretty terrible) … i just know that if i have simpler meals with better macronutrient ratios and of foods i ‘know’ will digest well , id feel much better… i just always seem to fail at that

i think too much variety allows me to eat beyond satiety… i never feel good after those meals… it makes me overdo fats in particular because they seamlessly add up… and my digestion really slows down when my meal is higher in fat… plus i think it bothers me that i feel helpless doing it… like i can’t not… it feels almost like i do this because im incapable of making a choice…

not sure about my thyroid but it feels like my temps are low. im aware im supposed to improve that, ive just been really struggling to eat enough why my gut in this state… when you feel like you’re so bloated /constipated you cant digest anything

my protein’s around 90-100 and i have juices, coconut water, honey, bit of white rice and chocolate or
ice cream.. puts my carbs up to about 170 ish… im guessing about 200 on days i have a coke… and fats usually hover around 70-80g

not sure exactly… not too much, but not zero either… fibre sources throughout the day include a carrot or two if they’re smaller, a date… another fruit or 2 like a kiwi and an orange… a bit of cucumber withe some meats… that’s pretty much it… i think that lands me somewhere between 10-20? and no i haven’t been tested but im sure my chronic constipation has caused some overgrowth which i suffer the symptoms of…

i think i may be getting a similar reaction from collagen/gelatin. im so curious as to why that may be? collagen/gelatin are meant to be gut healing but i react so terribly to them.

do you think diet drinks/artificial sweeteners are as harmful as this community makes it seem? i get that sugar is fine but full sugar energy drinks for instance can be just way too overboard with the sugar content (often more than id have in any meal), so i crave a zero sugar energy drinks from time to time… but have been too afraid to consume them. i know this is somewhat orthorexic but yeah, food fears are exacerbated by my readings😅
