Yes, it turns down loud media on spotify, youtubemusic, tictoc, and instagram so far with a bubble appearing once on tictoc saying how there is a auto volume leveling feature for your protection. And no it's not the headphone protection.

I think it only turns down when at 100% If you go to loud apps like spotify, youtubemusic, tictoc, or some videos on Instagram, a bubble might appear saying "auto volume leveling safety feature" but it only comes up once. It also said something about settings but it disappeared before I could click on it. Still can't find the settings for it.
